When
someone leaves the earth, those who are left behind are
inevitably in pain. But pain does not have to mean suffering,
We can take our pain and choose to use it to transform ourselves
for a higher spiritual purpose.
It
is important that we do not try to repress or suppress our
grief ~ but that we let it take its course, allowing us
to feel what we feel, to be with what is, with all of its
implications, so that we can move through it to a place
of peace, acceptance, and healing.
Unexpressed
grief will always seek expression. To attempt to rush through
or suppress this process will inevitably lead to greater
suffering and an unnecessary prolongation of the pain. Grief
counseling is tailored to suit anyone in accordance with
their beliefs and needs. In an accepting and compassionate
atmosphere, the space is held where the client is invited
to feel and release the assortment of emotions seeking expression
during a most difficult time.
